The Covenstead |
The Covenstead is a place where you will feel at home with your spiritual beliefs ... you will feel accepted by like-minded womyn on a similar spiritual path. Womyn who want to gather together to learn about Witchcraft, Wicca, Spellcraft and Ritual. Womyn who want to sit in circle to celebrate the Moon Esbats and the Seasonal Sabbats. |
 |
The Covenstead is a Teaching and Sharing Circle for womyn who are ready to experience what it is like to be part of a womyn's circle - a coven. This is a non-hierarchical group where womyn of varying levels of experience and varying spiritual interests are welcome. This is an open group where you are invited to attend whenever you are able.
This is an Eclectic Circle where we will explore the principals and practices of Witchcraft as well as a wide range of adjunctive principals and practices from complimentary spiritual paths such as Shamanism, Paganism, Wicca, Kabbalah and eastern traditions such as Tantra.

|
We will explore The Mysteries together. We will take time to ask questions, to share experiences, to wonder, to sometimes understand and to sometimes accept the Mystery.
It is time to put the books down ... it is time to start experiencing the magic!
Activities we may explore include: divination, tarot, scrying, spells, ritual, runes, myth, meditation, candle magic, moon magic, alchemy, crystal energy, healing, chanting, drumming, dancing, kitchen witchery, herb craft, gods, goddesses, womens mysteries and dream work. You are always welcome to suggest a new activity to explore.

"Thank you very much for holding the Covestead last night. So many things you said resonated with me and I really enjoyed the meditation exercise, as well as spending time with so many great women." Jasmine
"I had such a beautiful night with you and the girls, these nights always connect me to my spirit and others' and make me so happy." Amelia
" I really enjoyed last weeks meditation ... so I just wanted to let you know how enjoyable it was and how welcomed I felt by everyone in the circle. " Natasha
"I wanted to thank you for the Ritual on Saturday it was so beautiful and special and profound! I especially liked that it was a Ritual for the Covenstead, not the normal Imbolc Ritual where things are done because that's what you do on Imbolc. So thank you again for organising the Ritual and especially the Covenstead. It's a beautiful honour to be part of it!" Adriana
"I really got a lot out of Saturday and our ritual. I especially loved the singing and the candle dance. I feel the benefits of the love spell. I see myself so differently when I look in the mirror. I can see the child in me. It's a beautiful feeling." Yvette
"Just wanted to say that I enjoyed my first Friday Covenstead. The Self Love spell is a great start, I have been practicing and noticing what has been coming up. Very interesting!" Nicole |
In ancient times wytches were the singers of sacred songs, the midwives and healers, guides and teachers of spiritual wisdom ... she maintained the connection between nature and the divine.
As a modern-day wytch I walk this path with a proud open heart. I believe to be a wytch is many things ... but we are always guided by Love!
